James Granger is a native of Aliceville, AL. In 1979, he earned a B.S. degree in Management at the University of Alabama and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army. He also holds masters’ degrees from Webster University’s School of Business and Technology and the Air War College. He served 30 years in numerous stateside and overseas assignments to include a combat assignment in Operations Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in 2008. Over the years, he commanded two companies, a battalion and a brigade. His military awards include the Bronze Star Medal and 2 Legion of Merit Awards. He also earned the Master Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge, and parachutist badges from Ecuador, Australia, and the Netherlands. He finished his career at Fort Bragg, NC in 2009 at the rank of Colonel while serving as the Chief Information Officer for the U. S. Army Special Operations Command. He is married to Kaye Granger, and has a daughter (Kim Corder), two grandchildren (Tymetrius & Ronnesha), and two great grandchildren (Avah & A’Marion).
Of course, he is a car enthusiast and has a passion for keeping them in top shape. This passion for high level detailing led him to perfecting the fine art of paint correction, paint enhancement and applying coatings. In January, 2022 he opened Next Level Paint Correction & Coatings Automotive Detailing, LLC in Northport, Alabama.
