I just can’t say enough about James and the quality of work that he does at Next Level Automotive Detailing. About 4 years ago, we bought a Mercedes Sprinter van from a guy in Queens, New York, and I truly believe that the guy kept the van in dry storage when he wasn’t using it. We picked it up in Queens and drove it back to Tuscaloosa. When we bought it, the van looked literally brand new. The paint, the finish….everything was pristine. But within a year and after being exposed to the brutal summer elements here, the finish became badly oxidized and began to dull horribly. I tried several times to rejuvenate the finish myself, especially the hood, but my finish would only last a few months and revert back to the oxidized appearance. I had resigned myself to the fact that only a new paint job would fix this, so I started Googling for paint repair in the Tuscaloosa area. That’s how I found James and Next Level. Based on the services offered on his website, it seemed like exactly what I needed….not a new paint job but a complete paint restoration. So I took my van by there to let James look at it, and he was confident that he could really fix it up. James was meticulous and treated the van like it was his own vehicle. And I cannot overstate the results. When he finished with the van, it looked absolutely restored and brand new! And it wasn’t just the painted body either. The rims had become rusted and he removed the wheel covers and repainted the rims, then put a ceramic protective coating on the tires (I didn’t even know such thing existed!). Zoom in on the before and after pics to see the level of detail he went to on the wheels! The plastic trim on the outside of the van had oxidized and turned 15 shades lighter than they were supposed to be, and he completely restored them to their original color and luster. He also detailed the interior in addition to the exterior, so when I say the van came back looking like new, it literally LOOKED LIKE NEW, inside and out! People will search for car detailing, but this place is much more than car detailing. He doesn’t just wash and wax. He strips down the worn and oxidized clear coat layer, and then starts over from the paint itself to restore a beautiful and durable ceramic coat in its place. The result is a like new finish with a durable ceramic protective coating that is rated to last up to 10 years (probably even better than a new coat of paint!). If you are looking for a high end, truly restorative shop, then you won’t find someone better than James at Next Level. I got a van that looks like new at a fraction of the cost of a whole new paint job, with a 10 year protective ceramic coat on top of that! I’ve attached after and before pics, and while they are impressive in their own right, even they don’t do justice to the job that James did. HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEXT LEVEL AUTOMOTIVE DETAILING! You won’t be disappointed!
